The last week of lectures is finally here!! What is even better is that some of our lectures have already finished, Web Applications is finished and we handed up our website so that's one thing off the list, Finished with lectures for Databases, just have to go in Friday to hand up the final assessment, Law is also finished with Lectures! So for lectures we only have Management Information Systems, Public Relations and Human Resource Management!
All we have left to do is the Excel exam tomorrow hopefully that will be ok but from the reports from the other class weren't to positive but fingers crossed neway
We also have to hand up a PR Plan for Public Relations and do a presentation I hope the presentation gets called off because we just have so much to do.
Finally the very last project is the Databases project, had an exam in that today! But the project is due Friday, I think we are aiming for that to be done by Thursday, so we decided that if we feel confident about Excel tomorrow morning we are going to work away on the Databases, and with some of the lectures being off we have about 4 hours and hopefully we will get a good bit of it done, and wednesday we have about 5 hours off wednesday so hopefully the stress will decrease quickly!

Week 11 only 2 weeks to go!
So there is only 2 weeks of term left and my god does it feel like we have loads to do. The amount of assignments we have been given that are due in these last two weeks is actually ridiculous, there is an assignment due Thursday for HRM, Monday is an exam in Databases, Tuesday is the re-scheduled MIS exam and we have to hand up or web app project tuesday aswell, we also have to hand up another Databases project next week, we have to do a presentation for PR and hand up our PR plan that week too. Arggg so much too do its fair stressful. Im just looking forward to it all being over...
I was hoping that all of our exams would be before Christmas too so we could get them all over and done with before Christmas but I heard that one of them is going to be after Christmas which I think is fairly stupid because we are probably going to have other exams before Christmas so instead of getting them done in the one week we will study all that we for other exams we will probably have and then have to come back again after Christmas to do more so the chance of relaxing over christmas = 0 ..... NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL

My day
So today myself, caitriona and joan went to the IT@CORK conference to help out!! I must say it was worth it, we handed out flyers about the placement program at CIT so hopefully that will get some people placement! At first there was only two people supposed to be going but the three were of us were very much needed! I'd say we would have been totally rushed off our feet if it wasn't for there being three of us there!!
The weather is utterly shite! and i need to change my wipers cos they arn't doing a great job IN Tthis weather, i don't mind the rain so much i just hate the wind more!!
Watching the auld Ireland and France match at the mo tis quite good! Cmon Ireland woop woop!

So it looks like its time for another post!! I really did intend on posting more than required which is once a week however it seems that this year has been extremely busy!! Its actually crazy there is only 4 weeks of lectures left including this week! A bit mad, then we have a study/revision week and then exams before and after Christmas. I am hoping that all of our exams will be set before Christmas so we can relax and enjoy Christmas. I will be fairly p'd off if we have exams after Christmas.
So for weeks left and then after Christmas is placement and I think we were told that 1 person out of all our class has placement!!I really want to get placement this year It was almost expected but I don't know how hopeful I am now!

Never Ending?!?
Though it did feel like the college work was never ending.... well actually it still does... as soon as we have one thing finished we are on to the next! But I am happy now though because I think I got a fair aul bit done today so I'm quite pleased with that! Still so much to do though! I just hope I don't forget something! :( I wish we didn't have as many projects this year! I set up the blog for the web app project only problem is I would like for it to use our own style and headings and that... I don't think we can do that but I must investigate it all the same.... And even though we have done stuff for it we just havn't gotten around to making a post on it yet... we need to gather ourselves!
I know this has totally and utterly got nothing to do with college work but I swear if John and Edward stay in that bloody show one more week I will loose the plot! Well I don't really mind actually as long as they don't stay in ahead of anybody I like!
Back to college talk again, yes I am all over the place but It would be way easier to get stuff done if we finished earlier in the day. Mondays we are finished at 3 Tuesdays 5 Wednesdays 4 Thursdays 4 and Friday doesnt count cos its basically the weekend! I refuse to do college work at the weekend unless I have an exam on the Monday! I do enough during the week Im not feckin lookin at the stuff at the weekend too! But like by the time we finish college each day ya need to relax for at least 2 hours before you can start into the college work again and like some stuff would take ages to be doing whereas if I was finished early someday during the week at like 1 you could have your 2hrs off start again at 3 till maybe about 5 have another break and then get a good lash at it again! what would actually be even better is if they gave us like a thursday off to feck into loads of work. Like I wouldnt mind if I was in 9-6 or 7 each evening if we got a day off to do all our work! The timetable this year is just so horrible!
Plus third year is nothing compared to first year and second year... there wasn't much of a difference between those two years but I find anyway that with at least 3 of the subjects if ya miss out on them classes you will be totally lost! And paying attention is required this year well for me anyway! I intend to post to the group blog tomorrow! So hopefully I will get enough done to get a chance! God Damn Parking
So I hadn't posted for a while so i better get to it, not by choice though just had so much to be doing. I am definitely in the mood for a rant ...... it was a long time coming. So I am feckin sick of the serious lack of parking this year. Its absolutely ridiculous this semester, and from what i hear the clampers are back which just makes everything better don't you think?
The part I don't get is that I would imagine that CIT own the property so why are they allowing clampers in to rip off us students, especially in this damn recession. Other years if you were in before half nine you would get parking, and again from eleven o clock on you would be ok, that is now a thing of the past, today I was in at twenty to nine and no parking(each day they start arriving earlier and earlier just to get a spot) there is of course areas around the car park where you can park i.e. on curbs, double yellow lines etc however if the clamper is about you can be sure he will get ya, and thats 80 squid less for you.
So we must make the choice, miss a class or be fined 80 and clamped. You will be marked out for attendance so that is no good. You must evaluate whether that class is worth 80 euro ..... I think not.
